DESCRIPTION:
Join an innovative organization in serving science as a Supply Chain Specialist III at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this essential role, you'll support operational excellence across our supply chain network while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll manage complex supply chain projects, optimize inventory levels, analyze data to improve performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. This position offers the opportunity to implement effective solutions, support process improvements, and contribute to our operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent preferred
Six Sigma/Lean certification is a plus
Strong expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced planning tools
Advanced proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL)
Proven experience managing cross-functional improvement initiatives and projects
Experience with demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain analytics
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Excellence in written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, medical device) preferred
Experience implementing process improvement methodologies
Proficiency in developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and metrics
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to build consensus and collaborate with stakeholders
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $68,200.00-$95,000.00.
