Inductotherm Corp. has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team, on-site in Rancocas, New Jersey, Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Job Summary:
The candidate supports manufacturing operations by designing, improving, and optimizing mechanical systems, equipment, and production processes. This role ensures products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement and cost - reduction initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in designing and updating mechanical components, tooling, and fixtures under guidance from senior engineers.
Create and revise CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation.
Perform engineering calculations, tolerance checks, and design reviews.
Support manufacturing operations by helping identify and resolve mechanical or process-related issues.
Observe and analyze production workflows to recommend improvements.
Assist with equipment testing, validation activities, and process setup.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
Help collect data and perform root - cause analysis (RCA) for production problems.
Contribute to cost - reduction and efficiency projects.
Support cross - functional projects with Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Operations teams.
Assist in preparing project updates, technical reports, and documentation.
Help track project timelines, tasks, and milestones.
Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar).
Basic understanding of common manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, fabrication, molding, etc.).
Strong analytical, problem - solving, and communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast - paced production environment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
3-5+ years of mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Regular exposure to machinery, tools, and industrial equipment with proper safety PPE.
Able to traverse the floor of a plant in an industrial setting with various @types of heavy machinery and overhead hoists in operation.
Must be able to travel as required, on short notice by public transportation including (i.e.: aircrafts, trains, bus, cars) domestically and internationally.
Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.

Salary:
Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications.
Salary Range: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00/month
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
