Data Leader - Team Leader

Job Description Position Duties: Attract, coach, develop and retain a team of versatile data engineers, responsible for processing time-sensitive, high-quality data, data analysis, data management, and project management. Lead the team to partner with other data and core business groups to help develop and improve fit-for-purpose data that powers our products, including functionality across the product set. Mobilize the team to design and implement proactive data quality management supported by client-focused metrics and process observability (i.e. business intelligence). Develop data modeling and ETL skills within the team and collaborate with Engineering teams to develop a robust data product that can deliver value across multiple client-facing products. Build processes and standards that enable delivery of data that meets or exceeds client SLAs and supports customer service. Develop the team's subject matter and data expertise, aligning to the current industry best practices and trends to be able to proactively spot gaps and opportunities for future innovations. Collaborate with global counterparts to evolve the workflow and operating procedures to ensure consistency in data quality across regions and products. Perform incident management, from troubleshooting and root cause analysis to overall problem management and client critical issues. Manage projects and set tangible team and product goals.

Job Requirements: Position requires a bachelor's degree or the foreign equivalent in Data Science, Mathematics, Analytics or related and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Credit Risk Analyst or related. In lieu of a bachelor's degree the employer will accept 2 additional years of related experience.

Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following skills: Python, SQL, or Tableau; Experience working with large datasets; Quantify trends impacting the industry; Project and Product Management; Data modeling and ETL skills; Reporting and Data Analysis; Leadership. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
