Accessibility Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Accessibility Analyst to support a large higher education client experiencing an increased demand for accessibility reviews across digital platforms. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating systems, software, and websites for accessibility compliance, and performing both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate is process driven yet analytical, understands accessibility standards at a deeper level, and can confidently communicate with non technical audiences.

Day-to-Day:

Review websites, systems, and software for accessibility compliance

Perform manual and automated accessibility testing

Document findings, risks, and remediation recommendations clearly

Identify accessibility red flags and escalate concerns when appropriate

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and non-technical partners to explain findings

Ensure accessibility reviews align with 508 standards and internal processes

Recommend process improvements to help scale accessibility efforts amid increased demand

Support a growing volume of accessibility requests across the university

Skills and Requirements

Strong understanding of digital accessibility principles and standards

Experience testing and reviewing websites, software, and enterprise systems for accessibility

Hands-on experience with manual and automated accessibility testing

Working knowledge of Section 508 and accessibility compliance requirements

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain accessibility concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Experience creating or remediating accessible content

Accessibility certifications such as:

o Trusted Tester

o CPACC

o IAAP (IAAPA)

Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (ex: screen readers, automated scanners, browser tools, etc.)

Higher education experience
