Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Administrator to support day-to-day operations for residential and commercial properties in Northridge, California. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing tenant relations, leasing coordination, and administrative oversight in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will help keep property operations organized, responsive, and compliant while working closely with management, vendors, and residents.

This contract to hire position is 100% onsite in Northridge, CA.

Responsibilities:

Oversee administrative activities for assigned residential and commercial properties, ensuring records, notices, and property files remain accurate and current.

Coordinate leasing support by preparing documents, assisting with application processing, and helping move-ins and renewals progress smoothly.

Serve as a point of contact for tenants and residents by responding to questions, routing service requests, and following up on outstanding issues.

Maintain rent rolls, vendor invoices, and other operational data within Yardi Software to support reporting and day-to-day property administration.

Assist property management teams with inspections, occupancy tracking, and general office coordination related to building operations.

Work with maintenance staff and external vendors to schedule services, monitor completion timelines, and document updates appropriately.

Prepare routine reports, correspondence, and internal summaries that help management track leasing activity, property performance, and tenant concerns.

Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in property administration, property management, or a closely related real estate support role.

Working knowledge of residential property management and commercial property management practices.

Experience supporting leasing functions, including documentation, tenant communication, and occupancy-related coordination.

Proficiency with Yardi Software for entering, updating, and reviewing property and tenant information.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.

Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting professionally with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
