Austin Bridge & Road has an outstanding opportunity for a Inside Sales Representative/Admin Assistant at our corporate headquarters in Coppell, Texas. The Inside Sales Representative supports the asphalt sales team by managing and growing relationships with an established customer base while identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities. This role is responsible for proactive customer outreach, inbound account management, pipeline oversight, and delivering high-quality support throughout the sales cycle. This role also partners closely with inside and outside sales teams and supports customer meetings, industry events, and other sales initiatives as needed.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing customer accounts while handling inbound inquiries with a structured and consistent communication cadence to drive retention, repeat business, and account growth
Execute outbound prospecting efforts (calls, emails, research) to generate and qualify new leads and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through close and post-sale follow-up
Present, promote, and sell company products and services to existing and prospective customers by performing needs assessments and cost-benefit analyses to recommend appropriate solutions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, opportunity, and activity data within CRM systems and effectively manage and track pipeline to support forecasting, reporting, and goal achievement
Consistently achieve assigned sales targets and outcomes within established timelines
Prepare quotes and support pricing coordination, promotions, and negotiations
Maintain strong knowledge of products, services, pricing structures, and internal processes while effectively utilizing company systems and tools (e.g., APEX, JWS, CRM, quoting platforms)
Coordinate sales efforts with asphalt team members, operations, dispatch, and other internal departments, including supporting plant, trucking, and inbound material logistics
Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction and maintain strong business relationships
Analyze territory and market potential and monitor competitor activity, pricing, and trends; provide insights to management on customer needs and sales opportunities
Support continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and workflows
Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed
Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports and perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment
Primarily office-based inside sales role with regular collaboration across sales, operations, and management teams
Occasional participation in customer-facing events (e.g., trade shows, networking events, client meetings) and support of event-related sales initiatives
Periodic travel to project sites, plants, and customer locations, which may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction environments (including noise, dust, grease, and industrial materials
Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during work shifts
Occasional physical movement including walking, bending, crouching, and climbing
Flexibility to adjust schedule based on business and operational (sales/dispatch) needs
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5+ years of sales experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with frequent phone-based customer interaction
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
Proficiency or ability to learn CRM systems and sales tools
Preferred Qualifications
Previous inside sales experience
B2B sales experience, preferably in construction materials, asphalt, aggregates, or related industries
Spanish language skills (preferred)
Familiarity with asphalt or related industry (preferred)
