*This position requires 4 days onsite in Brentwood, TN.

The Senior Enterprise Engineer is responsible for supporting Information Technology based systems at the company and its affiliated companies while serving as a technical SME and/or resource on various IT projects and tasks. Provides tier 3 level support for enterprise systems. Acts as Project Manager for small projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The incumbent should be able to perform all of the followingfunctions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the jobperformance requirements.

Reviews market trends within the CoreCivic space and recommends technology strategies to align with the business initiatives.

Develops and maintains the technology roadmaps that drive innovation within the organization for all infrastructure hardware, software and cloud-based technologies to improve the customer experience, efficiency to innovate and excel.

Reviews technical designs to ensure that they are consistent with defined architecture principles, standards and best practices.

Accountable for the availability, stability, scalability, security, and recoverability enabled by the designs.

Works with business partners to ensure design meets desired outcomes.

Collaborates with both IT and business senior leadership to influence budget decisions for technology and business investment.

Governs the introduction of new technologies. Reviews, aligns, and drives technology plans with enterprise goals, business plans and business processes.

Translates business requirements into technical designs that ensure availability, stability, scalability, security, and recoverability.

Develops and maintains written policies, procedures, standards and best practices using vendor or industry standard sources to build and support CoreCivic Enterprise IT environments.

Manages cloud environments in accordance with security guidelines.

Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced team members through complex troubleshooting processes and translates very technical information into user terminology for business units.

Domestic U.S. travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Graduate from anaccredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in InformationTechnology or other related field is required.

4+ years of experience in a similar role for a multi-locationenterprise organization is required.

Additionalrelated experience may be substituted for the education requirement on ayear-for-year basis.

MSCE and/or VCP certification is preferred.

Experience supporting various infrastructuretechnologies within a multi-platform, enterprise environment including but notlimited to: Public and Private Cloud Management Microsoft Azure (preferred) orAWS, Office365 Suite, VMware, Storage and Backup Technologies, Citrix, CiscoUCS Platform, SCCM, Disaster Recovery, Hyper converge technologies Nutanix(preferred), server build, maintenance and support, Active Directorymanagement, installing and supporting operating systems- Windows, Linuxetc.

Knowledge of IAAS, SAAS, PAAS andDRAAS. Knowledge of leading industrytechnologies with a strong knowledge of IT governance, project planning, andthe technological usage/alternatives available in a multi-platform environment.

Ability to collaborate,communicate and coordinate with team members and other organizational groups orcustomers to ensure the proper design, implementation, support and maintenanceof systems.

Proficiency inMicrosoft Office applications is required.

A valid driver's license is required.
