As a Security Officer Hospital Armed Driver in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $26.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor and vehicle screening in support of site rules and restricted-area protocols.

Maintain readiness and proper handling of assigned equipment, including authorized defensive tools, while following post orders, applicable laws, and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.

Hospital-related vaccines are required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR certification is preferred.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
