Global Sr. Project Lead
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Global Sr. Project Lead, you will have the potential to make a massive impact on Bayer Digital Farming's business by working cross-functionally to successfully deliver outcomes with a high degree of quality. You will have an opportunity to @contextualize and champion work through the DFS strategic vision.
As part of the Center of Excellence Technical Community within Business Enablement, you will plan, execute, and close projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope. You will work with the business leads and partner with our regional and functional business units, acting as a central point of communication, managing stakeholders and risks while fostering team collaboration. You will bridge time zones, cultures, and technologies to deliver high-impact results.
Deliver and lead efficient DFS and potentially Crop Science global scale projects concurrently, regionally, and across business units.
Identify interdependencies within and between ambition squads to minimize risk of outcome delivery.
Lead assigned projects to develop and maintain project plans.
Lead conversations with key stakeholders to conduct strategic analysis of the project plan and identify potential blockers to the project's success.
Lead trade-off conversations, prioritizations, and assess risks.
Collaborate closely with business units, establishing ways of working and holding squads accountable.
Partner with business groups across the organization to evangelize understanding of our data and solutions, and to explore areas of opportunity to improve experiences and offerings.
Leverage asynchronous communications and digital platforms to manage workflows.
Support strategic initiatives and outcomes through retrospectives and ensure an outcome review every 90 days.
Drive data-driven decisions and act as a key contributor to the overall strategy of Project Management.
Lead through influence and model the 4 VACC behaviors and all DSO principles.
10-20% domestic and international travel required.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or Operations Management.
Experience leading highly complex initiative(s) that works across multiple business units.
Comprehensive understanding of systems or processes and the ability to synthesize information and anticipate needs of the squads.
Ability to build a culture where all processes are built around supporting the customer.
Ability to drive results and accountability by influencing individual contributors to make data-driven decisions.
Ability to @contextualize and champion work through the DFS strategic vision.
Excellent team- and relationship-building abilities, with both internal and external parties (engineers, data scientists, business partners, legal, privacy, security, etc.).
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams via diplomacy and tact.
Ability to develop and deliver strategic communications, including tailored key messages and content to target audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in relevant technical or business discipline.
12+ years' experience leading successful projects.
Experience as a project manager, program manager, or similar technology background.
Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to summarize complex technical programs into a broader compelling narrative.
Experience and passion for agriculture.
Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain keen attention to detail.
Natural tendency to be positive, creative, curious, and learn quickly.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $143,840.00 - $215,760.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
