Job Title: Mortgage Origination Customer Service Representative

Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite)

Compensation: $23.47/HR - $25.75/HR on W2

Security Clearance: Public Trust (HUD Central Clearance)

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by answering calls and emails related to FHA guidelines and procedures from the lending industry and the public.

Use your mortgage industry knowledge to locate answers in knowledge databases and acknowledge client requests.

Follow standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact channels.

Document all contacts accurately in the database.

Stay current on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.

Requirements

High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate

Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience (e.g., loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer)

Minimum of 1 year of contact center or telephone customer service experience

Ability to obtain a US Security clearance (similar to a Public Trust), including a credit check and background investigation

Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications, utilizing search tools

Excellent time management skills and dependability

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette

Keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minute
