Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor 5 to support warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading warehouse employees, driving operational performance, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently achieved.

The Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in supporting daily operations, improving processes, and maintaining strong communication across departments while contributing to overall business success.

What's the Job?

Counsel and support hourly employees with operational needs and workplace concerns

Address employee performance behaviors by reinforcing positive actions and correcting negative behaviors

Utilize the Quality Network problem-solving process to identify opportunities for improvement and engage employees for ideas

Apply Workplace Organization (WPO) processes to improve warehouse layouts and operational efficiency

Perform daily Timekeeping System (TKS) updates to ensure accurate payroll processing

Use A-3 reporting formats to document problem-solving activities following local A-3 guidelines

Conduct daily team meetings to communicate business performance and encourage two-way communication

Perform and document weekly safety observation tours within assigned departments

Plan and coordinate daily workloads to support operational objectives

Collaborate with colleagues and leadership teams to optimize shift performance

Observe and support National and Local contractual requirements

Enforce Shop Rules and workplace policies

Conduct daily SOP audit checks

Participate in the Individual Development Plan (IDP) process to advance leadership and technical skills

Keep the General Supervisor Shop Committee informed of pending activities and operational updates

What's Needed?

High school diploma with at least 1-2 years of technical or business school training

Training in a skilled trades area or equivalent technical training

10+ years of warehouse, manufacturing, or related operational experience

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures

Understanding of scheduling and management systems

Familiarity with quality control procedures and workplace safety standards

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex operational environments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees and drive performance

Basic math proficiency

Understanding of the basic technology used within assigned operational areas
