Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning specialist (Level 4) to support our Strategic Deterrent Systems Division located in Roy, UT. This position is in support of the Sentinel Program EMD Contract. In this role, this person will act as the liaison on behalf of Global Supply Chain to the program throughout the product lifecycle. This person will get the opportunity to engage cross-functionally both within and outside Global Supply Chain to help enable a compliant execution to mitigate cost and schedule risk. This person will also work within business systems such as CPLM and SAP S4 to support the execution of requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong written and verbal communication skills that allow them to communicate clearly and effectively. In addition, they should have in-depth experience with SAP MRP Systems including MRP tiles and Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution as well as experience working in CPLM systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Represent GSC in ROSE negotiations, design reviews, and PDP sign offs to ensure complete and accurate information is incorporated in each stage of the process
Review and hand off complete and accurate requisitions to the procurement team
Support program by providing guidance, status, and support throughout the product lifecycle on behalf of GSC
Coordinate with the GSCPMs to develop and communicate the material execution plans
Support division material sales goals by creating the GSC material forecast and working cross functionally to drive accuracy to the forecast
Creation and maintenance of the material masters within SAP to ensure proper planning and requirements generation can occur
Basic Qualifications
Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 8 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience; OR a master's degree and 6 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience; OR 12 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree
Requires a minimum 3 years of in-depth experience with SAP ERP System focused on MRP Functions and Transactions
Requires experience with MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Active in-scope Secret Security Clearance
Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense
5+ years of in-depth experience with SAP ERP System focused on MRP Functions and Transactions
Experience working in CPLM
Strong written and verbal communication skills

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Primary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
