Logistic Specialist - Logistic Specialist II

Location: Dublin, Ohio (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation: $18 hourly

Role Overview

This role supports the design, planning, delivery, and operation of global infrastructure. The position involves working on complex supply chain challenges. You will join a team of engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers to help deliver high standards for safety and security. This is a role in an environment that values new ideas and empowers team members.

Key Responsibilities

Manage vendor and team communication, including data entry and coordinating with suppliers.

Resolve inquiries from cross-functional teams.

Ensure all billing associated with the inventory supply chain is accurate, validated, and ready for processing.

Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials.

Assist in the daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups.

Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to work overtime as required and participate in a primary responder rotation for after-hours support. Must be able to read and take direction in English.

Technical Skills: Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Inventory Management Systems.

Understands inventory control methodology.

Demonstrated positive work attitude and leadership skills.

Commitment to a culture of safety.

Work Environment

Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods.

Work is typically in an office environment with low to moderate noise levels but can occasionally be in a loud environment.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and participate in group lifts for items over 41 pounds.

Physical tasks may include bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.

Tasks may involve ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.

The role may require working in cramped or elevated environments.
