SodexoMagic has an opportunity for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager at John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) within the exclusive AA/BA lounges. Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, and Sodexo. As a certified minority company, we deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and airport lounges. This strategic alliance between Magic Johnson Enterprises and Sodexo, Inc., enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;

achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; and/or

ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

What You Bring

have previous food and beverage experience within luxury hotels, restaurants or similar upscale hospitality venue;

have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;

possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;

exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or

demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
