Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Cyber Command in Fort Meade, Maryland. Responsibilities Coordinates with the Command's Security Division (J0S) to document and initiate security actions essential to support the security and integrity of operations, including personnel security clearances, badging, and visitor requests. Also manages local physical security functions, including assuring consistent compliance with USCYBERCOM, DoD, and federal requirements for secure storage, document marking and transmission, and read-in requests Briefs the J003 Chief on upcoming due dates, pending invoices, and payment status. Attends events, take notes, generates minutes and action items as appropriate, and distributes tasks as directed Provides internal and external communications management functions to support J003 operations. Collects future year travel requirements and prepares the J003 travel budget forecast. Leads analyses, documentation, and justification of J003requirements for administrative budget lines, including professional development, training, and office furniture/expendable supplies. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by coordinating with security personnel to document essential security operations; collecting travel metrics data to assist in the preparation of future travel budgets; and tracking payment status within an automated management system. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in office administration, business administration, or communications; OR A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
