JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Paid Media Labs is responsible for owning and operating key components of Choice Hotels' Media Labs measurement, innovation, and data infrastructure, enabling scalable execution, learning, and optimization across paid media initiatives. Operating under limited supervision, this role independently manages moderately complex projects across measurement readiness, ad tech enablement, audience activation, commercial mix modeling data operations, and reporting standardization. The Manager acts as a day-to-day owner of defined operational domains, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and making recommendations that influence departmental execution and priorities. The role partners closely with Analytics, Finance, agencies, internal stakeholders, and technology vendors, serving as a reliable operational and subject matter resource within Media Labs. This role operates horizontally, supporting key paid media initiatives and segment teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Innovation Program Operations & Learning Agenda
Support Media Labs innovation program operations, including intake management, tracking, timelines, documentation, and test closeout across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Maintain and assist in governance of the learning agenda to ensure proper sequencing, prevent duplication, and clearly document outcomes and implications of paid media testing.
Synthesize results, risks, and learnings into clear recommendations that inform roadmap prioritization and scaling decisions in partnership with the Senior Manager.
Measurement Enablement & QA Operations
Support measurement readiness and QA processes by validating tracking, data feeds, and frameworks in collaboration with Analytics and agency partners prior to launch.
Ensure adherence to established measurement standards and definitions to support reliable reporting within internal systems and dashboards.
Proactively identify data integrity risks, troubleshoot discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to protect learning and reporting accuracy.
CMM Data Feeds & Taxonomy Management
Lead CMM data feed execution, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across agency and internal inputs in partnership with the Senior Manager and Advanced Analytics.
Lead QA, validation, version control, and documentation of CMM files, assumptions, and anomalies.
Escalate risks and provide recommendations to mitigate impacts to model quality, timelines, or downstream insights.
Ad Tech, Vendor Evaluation & Tracking Enablement
Support evaluation of new ad tech vendors and capabilities by documenting requirements, comparing solutions, and assessing operational readiness.
Coordinate and QA tag and pixel implementation with ad operations teams to ensure accurate data collection and compliance with privacy and performance standards.
Maintain oversight of third-party tracking on CH.com, identifying and escalating privacy, compliance, or site performance risks as appropriate.
Audience Enablement & CDP Activation
Own executional support for audience enablement, including customer data platform (CDP) list creation, refresh cadence, deployment validation, and documentation.
Coordinate workflows and approvals with Privacy, Analytics, and platform teams to ensure compliant activation.
Track audience usage and performance to support reuse, learning, and optimization across Media Labs initiatives.
Provide perspective on audience feasibility and media activation regularly to marketing teams and key workflows.
Reporting, Forecasting & Media Operations
Enable scalable reporting by maintaining standardized scorecards, repositories, and documentation, reducing ad hoc reporting needs.
Independently manage forecasting, budget tracking, and invoicing support in coordination with Finance and the Senior Manager.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational rigor, documentation, and cross-partner workflows within Media Labs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Employment Experience
3+ years of experience operating paid media measurement, innovation operations, and data enablement functions within a complex, cross-functional environment.
Experience managing moderately complex projects independently and owning defined operational domains with limited supervision.
Experience partnering with Analytics, Finance, agencies, internal stakeholders, and technology vendors.
Technical Skills
Experience supporting measurement readiness, QA processes, data feeds, and reporting standardization for paid media initiatives.
Familiarity with ad tech platforms, tagging and tracking implementation, CMM data operations, and CDP audience activation workflows.
Additional Skills & Competencies
Strong operational ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and make informed recommendations.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation, validation, and QA discipline.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $86,886 - $102,219.
