Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor site activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. In this role, you will stay visible, assist employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that leads with integrity, agility, and innovation.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and document site access activity in accordance with post instructions.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, loading zones, and parking areas, with working conditions that may vary by site.

Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity by maintaining an attentive presence and reporting security-related concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
