Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs

Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No

Starting Salary Range: Adjunct base rate is \$1,208-\$1,344 per credit hour depending on degree and teaching experience and in accordance with the adjunct pay table listed in the Master Agreement.

Adjunct professors assigned to Integration Lecture Lab Instruction

like studio classes average pay is between \$6,300 - \$7,400.

Position Summary: Johnson County Community College is looking to fill an adjunct teaching position in our Fine Arts program. This position will teach at least one section of Drawing-II in the Fall of 2026 with the possibility of additional and future Fine Arts teaching assignments.

Required Qualifications:

Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting, Drawing or Printmaking.

Previous teaching experience at a College level is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to teach courses in multiple disciplines within Fine Arts.

Previous experience teaching 2-D Design, Drawing, Painting and/or

Printmaking courses at a college level.

Previous community college teaching experience.
