Job Title: Industrial Painter, $20-25/hour starting pay
This role focuses on industrial painting within a full-service product manufacturing environment that produces bases for industrial-sized AC and humidifier units. You will prepare and paint a variety of metal components using professional painting equipment and techniques, ensuring a high-quality finish and consistent production output. 1st shift (5:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday) or 2nd shift (3:30 PM-2:00 AM, Monday-Thursday).
Responsibilities
Prepare metal bases and components for painting by cleaning, masking, and setting up parts according to specifications.
Apply industrial coatings using HVLP and other painting equipment to achieve an even, high-quality finish.
Inspect painted parts for coverage, color consistency, and defects, and perform touch-ups or rework as needed.
Follow established painting procedures and coating specifications to ensure durability and adherence to quality standards.
Handle, mix, and use paints, coatings, and related materials safely and in accordance with instructions.
Operate and maintain painting tools and equipment, including spray guns and related machinery.
Work efficiently to meet production goals and schedules on either the first or second shift.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and orderly production environment.
Essential Skills
Previous painting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience using industrial painting tools such as HVLP spray equipment.
Ability to follow detailed painting instructions and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail when preparing, painting, and inspecting parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Auto body, auto collision, or automotive painting experience is a plus.
Familiarity with coatings, powder coating, or similar finishing processes is beneficial.
Experience working with industrial or heavy-duty equipment components is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.

Work Environment

You will work a four-day workweek on either the 1st shift (5:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday) or the 2nd shift (3:30 PM-2:00 AM, Monday-Thursday), using industrial painting tools such as HVLP spray equipment and working around coatings and related materials in a production setting.
