Job Title: Class C Box Truck Driver
Job Description
This role involves safely operating a Class C 26-foot box truck to complete delivery routes within a 100-mile radius, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to customers while handling loading and unloading of materials.
Responsibilities
Operate a Class C 26-foot box truck safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
Complete delivery routes of up to 100 miles, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
Load and unload products from the box truck using safe handling practices.
Verify delivery documentation, including addresses, items, and quantities, before departure and upon delivery.
Provide professional, courteous, and customer-focused service during deliveries and customer interactions.
Handle products and materials with care to prevent damage during loading, transport, and unloading.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe box truck, including daily inspections and basic upkeep.
Report any vehicle issues, route delays, or delivery problems promptly to the appropriate contact.
Follow established routes and schedules while adapting to changes as needed.
Support basic warehouse activities as needed, such as staging orders and assisting with inventory handling.
Essential Skills
Valid Class C driver qualification suitable for operating a 26-foot box truck.
Proven experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
Ability to safely load and unload materials, including use of proper lifting techniques.
Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, reliability, and adherence to traffic regulations.
Basic documentation and paperwork skills to verify deliveries and maintain records.
Customer service skills to interact professionally with customers during deliveries.
Ability to follow routes, schedules, and instructions accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Warehouse experience preferred, including handling, staging, or organizing materials.
Customer service experience preferred, especially in a delivery or field-based role.
Experience or familiarity with the HVAC supply industry is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
