What's a typical day as an Accounts Receivable Clerk? You'll be:
Posting daily collections and financial transactions into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintaining accurate accounts receivable files for new and existing customers, facilitating smooth operations.
Reviewing A/R aging reports for management, highlighting overdue accounts and collection priorities to support decision-making.
Supporting the reconciliation of A/R subledger to the general ledger and assisting with audit requests as needed.
Sending weekly billing statements and other key communications to clients, fostering strong relationships.
Monitoring and responding to customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and support.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have 5+ years of accounts receivable collection experience, showcasing your expertise in the field.
Possess strong organizational skills with a willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.
Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, enabling efficient data management and communication.
Demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers regarding delinquent accounts.
Can work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
