Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to support us and a DoW customer on Ft. Meade. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy innovative cloud-native applications while integrating advanced Oracle database solutions. We are looking for someone with a strong working knowledge of Node.JS or other Javascript frameworks, and ideally some strong working knowledge of Oracle database features.

Responsibilities:

Design and Innovate: Create and implement advanced software systems for cloud-native environments.

Database Integration: Develop seamless integrations between applications and Oracle databases to ensure robust functionality and performance.

Agile Teamwork: Collaborate in an Agile Framework, working within a highly integrated software development team to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

DevSecOps Excellence: Operate within advanced DevSecOps pipelines and processes to ensure the secure, efficient, and effective deployment of database solutions to cloud environments.

Secure Deployments: Manage deployment of database systems across various secure enclaves, ensuring data security and compliance with Department of War (DoW) standards.

Hourly: 86/hr - 96/hr

Salary: 175,000 - 190,000

Skills and Requirements

-Active TSSCI

-Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience, or 11+ years of experience

-Strong working knowledge of Node or other Javascript libraries

-Experience developing applications tied to an Oracle backend

-Experience developing in cloud hosted environments -Oracle Application Express (APEX): Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle's low-code development framework for building database-driven applications.

-GitLab Expertise: Practical experience with GitLab for source code management, project tracking, collaboration, and documentation in an Agile development environment.

-Cloud & Secure Environments: Knowledge and experience working in secure cloud computing environments, particularly deploying mission-critical applications.
