Summary You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (APPSW) in the COMMAND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will design, develop and maintain COMFRC enterprise applications processed on various platforms such as Windows 7, using Business Objects Enterprise (BOE), SQL. PLSQL, Visual Basic Script, Visual Studio, etc. You will determine and refine system requirements for client servers and web browser applications. You will work with customers to test applications to ensure system quality and functionality. You will work with senior IT Specialists and responsible FRC personnel providing technical guidance in the formulation of application requirements and in the definition and documentation of user requirements for the respective computer systems. You will Write, debug and maintain programming code/script, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems within the application design. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and maintaining custom SharePoint Online sites, including the use of SPFx (SharePoint Framework), web parts, extensions, and site governance; 2) Proven ability to create and deploy custom canvas and model-driven applications to meet specific business requirements; 3) Experience in building and optimizing automated workflows (cloud and desktop flows) to streamline business processes; 4) Proficiency in creating complex and interactive dashboards and reports; 5) Experience in developing and managing Qlik Sense dashboards and applications; 6) Understanding of data modeling concepts, including the ability to design and implement data structures that support scalable and efficient applications; 7) Experience with data integration techniques, including extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources. Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable; 8) Experience serving as a product owner or primary point of contact (POC) for specific projects, including gathering requirements, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring project success; 9) Proven ability to serve as a technical SME with minimal supervision, providing guidance and expertise to team members and stakeholders on the technologies listed above; 10) Must be able to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal oversight; 11) Skill in briefing technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts in an easily understandable manner, and effectively participating in team discussions and project meetings.
