We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Supplier Development Associate with a strong background in sourcing manufacturers both domestically and globally. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and developing new suppliers to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role requires a combination of operations know-how, strategic thinking, negotiating skills, and a deep understanding of regional manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities:

Identify and qualify potential suppliers globally based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.

Develop and implement supplier development initiatives to drive performance improvements.

Lead Global Product Launch Process working with internal and external stakeholders

Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Quality) to address supply chain challenges to align on requirements.

Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.

Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic sourcing recommendations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Bachelor's Degree or higher

2+ Years experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Proven Results finding new suppliers and building a relationship

Technical understanding of engineering drawings

Ability to obtain and analyze landed costs

Ability to find and develop new/existing suppliers

Must be able to travel 10% - 25% both domestically and internally

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience, education, and geographical location.
