Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SUPPLY BRANCH of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. All applications received on the day the application limit is reached will be accepted and processed. Responsibilities You will supervise the work of subordinates. You will set goals and objectives for accomplishing projects and establishing work standards. You will provide program oversight to ensure timely integration of new or changing logistics concepts and to develop methods and techniques required for program execution. You will review overall operations to determine operational problems to determine and implement changes necessary to meet long-range objectives. You will ensure vehicle, safety, supplies and AA/E programs are in compliance with established laws and policies Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience organizing, directing, and controlling all functional areas and associated resources related to mission accomplishment. Experience reviewing accomplishments of subordinate branches for technical adequacy, consistency and compliance with policies, procedures, and directives. Experience providing oversight of ammunition commodities during processing in supply maintenance operations and coordinating and resolving commodity specific issues.
