Job Title: Accounting/Finance Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting/Finance Consultant to support project work and assist in day-to-day operations, allowing key finance leaders to concentrate on strategic tasks. This role requires a strong accounting background and the ability to engage deeply with financial operations.

Responsibilities

Support project work and assist with day-to-day accounting tasks.

Help finance leaders focus on strategic objectives by managing operational details.

Bridge the gap between forward-looking financial planning and accounting review.

Engage in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic initiatives.

Collaborate on month-end processes and general ledger management.

Contribute to financial statement preparation and analysis.

Essential Skills

15+ years of strong accounting experience.

Proficiency in general ledger management and month-end processes.

Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A).

Strong systems experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in tax or treasury is a plus.

Ability to work in a detailed, hands-on manner rather than just overseeing operations.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings. The position ideally requires 40 hours per week, but candidates seeking 15-20 hours per week will also be considered. In such cases, multiple hires may be made to meet the workload.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
