Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on performing electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial injection molding and metal stamping press machinery. The Electrical Maintenance Technician diagnoses and resolves electrical issues, ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently, and supports continuous production by troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems up to 480 volts.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and identify electrical shorts and faults in industrial equipment and electrical panels.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on industrial injection mold machines and metal stamping press machinery.
Wire and connect three phase motors, ensuring proper installation and operation.
Perform electrical troubleshooting on systems up to 480 volts, including safety circuits.
Trace wiring to locate faults and verify continuity throughout electrical circuits.
Read and interpret electrical schematics to guide troubleshooting and repairs.
Perform wire splicing and electrical wiring tasks in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Repair or replace safety circuits and other electrical components as needed to maintain safe operation.
Use schematics and diagrams to systematically diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to relevant stakeholders to support ongoing operations.
Essential Skills
At least 4 years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
Proficiency in diagnosing and identifying electrical shorts and faults in industrial machinery.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
Ability to trace wiring and identify faults within an electrical panel.
Strong skills in troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480 volts.
Experience repairing and replacing three phase motors.
Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment such as injection mold and metal stamping press machinery.
Proficiency in wire splicing and electrical wiring tasks.
Ability to work safely with high-voltage electrical systems and adhere to safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems.
Experience working with schematics and electrical diagrams in an industrial environment.
Familiarity with troubleshooting three phase motor controls and related circuitry.
Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to diagnosing electrical issues.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks in a production environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.05/hr.
