Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer specializing in Automation to support internal equipment, which will be installed and commissioned at various sites. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering, particularly with custom automated equipment.

Responsibilities

Support and troubleshoot internal equipment regularly on the floor.

Program PLCs using Siemens or Rockwell Automation.

Develop HMI/SCADA with WinCC or Ignition.

Engage in Robotics programming, specifically with Fanuc.

Design and interpret AutoCAD Electrical schematics.

Work with controls hardware such as sensors, remote IO, servos, VFDs, machine vision, and barcode readers.

Employ industrial networking protocols like Profinet and EtherCAT.

Travel up to 25% for equipment installation and commissioning at various locations.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering for custom automated equipment.

Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens primary, Rockwell Automation secondary).

Experience with Robotics programming (Fanuc).

Familiarity with HMI/SCADA development (WinCC primary, Ignition secondary).

Knowledge of controls hardware and industrial networking protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls and Computer Control Systems, Mechatronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical schematic design is a plus.

Willingness to travel up to 25% for installation and commissioning. #mneng26

This is a Permanent position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
