Job Title: Car Detailer
Job Description
Join a growing team as a Car Detailer, where you clean and restore vehicles to a high standard of appearance. You use your strong work ethic and attention to detail to ensure every vehicle looks its best, inside and out. Prior experience is helpful, but the team will provide training for candidates who are dependable, motivated, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
Clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles to a consistently high standard.
Wash vehicles thoroughly, including pre-rinse, hand wash, and final rinse as needed.
Vacuum vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, floor mats, and trunk areas.
Shampoo carpets, upholstery, and floor mats to remove stains and odors.
Apply wax and polish to vehicle exteriors to protect surfaces and enhance appearance.
Clean windows, mirrors, dashboards, consoles, and other interior surfaces.
Use cleaning products, tools, and detailing equipment safely and correctly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and address any missed areas.
Provide friendly, high-quality customer service and respond professionally to customer requests.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with chemicals and equipment.
Essential Skills
Experience as a car detailer or in vehicle cleaning is preferred.
Strong attention to detail when cleaning interior and exterior vehicle surfaces.
Ability to perform vacuuming, shampooing, waxing, and polishing tasks thoroughly.
Basic mechanical inclination to handle detailing tools and equipment safely.
Dependable work habits, including punctuality and consistent attendance.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established cleaning processes.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques and procedures.
Customer service mindset with the ability to interact politely and professionally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to receive on-the-job training in professional car detailing.
Comfort working with cleaning chemicals and detailing products according to safety guidelines.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team to meet workload demands.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
