Our Team. Our Passion. Our Approach. This is a position within FORTNA's Engineering Support Office team where you will play a pivotal role in driving excellence across our engineering operations. You will be responsible for supporting and driving Quality, Training & Documentation, Tools, Engineering Standards & Processes, and Metrics within the engineering department, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.Responsibilities:Building in Quality Control for Engineering processes and deliverables. Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve the quality of project engineering processes, products, and services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Design and execute comprehensive training programs for project engineering staff to enhance their skills, knowledge, and competencies.Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including manuals, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), to support engineering and project execution.Ensure that documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.Provide guidance and support to engineers in following established procedures and best practices.Establish a culture of continuous improvement and mechanisms to promote mentoring of associates across the Engineering department.Support the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of project delivery and engineering processes. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics, status updates, and insights to senior management.Work closely with engineering teams to develop action plans and initiatives to address performance gaps and optimize processes.Create and regularly review and update Parts Library to reflect changes in product designs and manufacturing processes. Support engineering by providing expertise, resources, and guidance for a range of engineering software tools, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, AutoCAD Electrical, Navisworks, ACC, Vault, and custom add-ons tailored to enhance functionality within these platforms.Foster effective communication of innovative concepts and serve as a catalyst for driving transformative change within the engineering department.Process improvement and quality managementExperience building quality controls into engineering processes, supporting corrective actions, and improvingworkflows, standards, and deliverables.Problem-solving and root-cause analysisHelpful for addressing quality issues, performance gaps, process
