Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This role offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.

Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and communicating concerns to site contacts.

Support a professional campus environment by assisting with directions, answering questions, and documenting security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
