For additional information on USACE Tulsa District click Here Responsibilities Incumbent serves in the District as Chief of all Management and Disposal activities in the Branch, the incumbent is responsible for the overall planning, directing, coordinating, training, reviewing and supervising the activities of the branch. Responsible for civil and military real estate management and disposal, including supervising outgrants, inspections, and policy development while reviewing branch-wide work actions. Provide information and advice to branch personnel, management, representatives of other governmental agencies and private interests, and provides recommendations as to proposed or anticipated management and disposal activities. Responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, and supervision of subordinate staff to effectively accomplish assigned Management and Disposal functions. Represent the District in discussions, deliberations and negotiations involving the administration of the program directed. Provide information to or from appropriate organizations for administrative services in functional areas of budget, supply, procurement, and manpower management. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: ) Managing real estate programs, including activities such as the disposal, outgranting (e.g., leases, licenses, easements), and administration of real property; AND 2) Providing policy and regulatory guidance concerning real estate activities to staff, management, and other stakeholders; AND 3) Directing the work of subordinate employees performing real estate functions to ensure compliance with program objectives and standards. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
