Description: What You Will Be Doing:
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Operations team as a Site Lead and Functional Field Operations Leader of multiple teams to support operations at Beale AFB in California.
Must be willing to deploy, as required, for a long-term assignment, work any shift, and weekends. Some travel may be required. Candidates must be willing and able to deploy with Customer personnel to hazardous duty location. US Department of Defense (DoD) mandated vaccinations may be required.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Selected candidates must pass an overseas physical examination.
Lead a team of 32 Contractor Field Service Representatives at four forward operating location and a CSC team at Palmdale. Manage teams to achieve the highest aircraft availability and mission effectiveness within the U-2 enterprise. Supervise daily U-2 Operations with minimal oversight, while executing true real-world operation tempo.
The Site Lead (Senior Manager) role will be the single-point of contact to oversee all on-site ADP and U2 contractor support operations at Beale AFB, CA and will be the primary customer liaison to the Airforce at Beale AFB. The Site Lead reports to the Field Operations Director and maintains close coordination with the Global Fleet Support team and the Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team in the management of all field support sustainment requirements.
Management tasks include, but are not limited to, oversight of all on-site contractor activities, planning and scheduling of on-site team work assignments (including potential contractor deployment packages), enforcement of safety and physical security procedures and directives, and management of labor charges and administrative documentation.
The Site Lead will be responsive to the operational and support concerns of Air Force leadership at Beale AFB, CA and ensure responsive support is provided by contractor support activities.
Manage health of each individual sector in Field Service in defining and managing their program/function with specific training, and defining and executing contract requirements for field support per the SOW and WDD
Responsible for proposing, allocating and managing budgets for all aspects of field service.
Preparation of Basis of Estimates for proposal activities and negotiations
Interpret and motivate teams on corporate policies and cultures to create an ALL IN environment.
In addition as the Field Operations Functional Leader for ADP and U2, this role will have oversight and functional leadership duties over the other U2 site leads and their teams which include CONUS and OCONUS sites. They will be responsible to help integrate capabilities, requirements, and process improvements across the program in conjunction with Sustainment and capability delivery system (CDS) requirements and needs.
Will also ensure personnel compliance with program, company, and government agency policies and procedures and coordinate staffing and training requirements.
Must be a United States citizen. Must possess an active Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 10-12 years of aircraft ops/maintenance/sustainment/production
experience.
Demonstrated experience working and
interacting with senior management within unit
operations and maintenance communities.
Aircraft maintenance or aircraft sustainment experience and operations leadership experience.
Previous L code experience or military
Demonstrated experience managing product / system engineering support.
Current Secret Clearance Required
Desired Skills:
Candidate should possess a broad military aircraft support background and advanced interpersonal and communication skills to be effective in a high tempo operational environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with supporting companies and local base authorities critical for success.
Prior military or civilian equivalent operational maintenance & logistics experience desirable; specifically organizational and intermediate maintenance experience.
Should be considered an expert and or leadership authority in the maintenance, operations, and support/sustainment disciplines.
Experience working on customer sites for extended periods of time.
Working knowledge of Supply, Field Operations, or MUO functions.
Basic understanding of managing cost and schedule using Earned Value Management (EVM or EVMS).
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $138,100 - $243,455. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $158,800 - $275,195.
