Our client, a leader in the aerospace and engineering industry, is seeking an Aerospace Test Engineer to join their team. As an Aerospace Test Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Aerospace Test Engineer

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Rate: $70/hr plus OT, benefits

What's the Job?

Design and develop mechanical and test facility systems for testing pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, heat exchangers, and high-speed turbo-machinery components or systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define, document, and analyze test procedures and results.

Identify functional problems and propose effective resolutions to ensure testing accuracy and reliability.

Assist in establishing internal quality control standards and maintaining reliability programs.

Analyze test cases, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in designing mechanical and test facility systems for testing complex components or systems.

At least 4 years of Project Engineering or Project Management experience, with a proven ability to interact with engineering teams and manage test projects.

Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, relying on extensive experience and judgment.

Ability to lead tasks and possibly direct the work of others, demonstrating creativity and autonomy in problem-solving.
