Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)
Job Description
This role involves safely loading and unloading trucks, accurately pulling and staging orders, and building pallets in a refrigerated, GMP-regulated warehouse environment. You will operate sit-down forklifts, handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and help ensure that products are moved efficiently and stored correctly.
Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using a sit-down forklift.
Pull and stage customer orders accurately based on pick lists or instructions.
Build, wrap, and label pallets to ensure stable and secure loads for storage or shipment.
Handle materials manually as needed, including lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
Perform order picking, packing, loading, and unloading tasks to support daily warehouse operations.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and company procedures.
Work consistently in a refrigerated environment while following all GMP and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with GMP standards.
Follow all warehouse policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
At least 1 year of sit-down forklift operating experience.
Proven experience with loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
Strong material handling skills, including pallet building and staging.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment at approximately 40 degrees.
Experience with picking, packing, and order picking in a warehouse setting.
Commitment to following safety procedures and operating equipment responsibly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) experience is a plus.
Familiarity with working in a regulated or food-grade environment is beneficial.
Attention to detail and accuracy when pulling and preparing orders.
Ability to work until all daily tasks are completed, including occasional 10-hour days.
Strong reliability and punctuality for early morning start times.

Work Environment
This position is based in a refrigerated warehouse environment maintained at around 40 degrees, where employees can wear provided PPE to stay warm. The typical schedule starts at 6:00 a.m. and runs until work is finished, usually around 2:30 p.m., with some days extending to 10-hour shifts depending on workload. The facility operates under GMP standards, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets (as applicable), steel-toe footwear, and safety glasses. Work is active and physical, involving frequent forklift operation, material handling, and movement throughout the warehouse.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
