Job Purpose Summary
We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. The MSL will serve as a clinical and scientific expert while developing and maintaining relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals across multiple surgical specialties. The role translates clinical and real-world data into meaningful insights, supports appropriate product utilization.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities:
Support and collaborate with Director, Medical Affairs providing strategic insight and expertise across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, Training, and Marketing functions.
Act as a Regional contact for scientific and medical inquiries, including Medical Information (MI), pharmacovigilance, and product-related support.
Provide non-promotional, evidence-based scientific exchange regarding product performance, safety and clinical outcomes.
Translate clinical evidence and real-world surgical experience into meaningful insights that support improved product use, procedural efficiency, and better outcomes across a range of surgical specialties.
Develop and manage strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in support of company objectives and enhancing the company's reputation as a scientifically innovative industry partner.
Contribute to the development and execution of local and global medical strategies, including input on key product messaging, positioning, educational initiatives, and Annual Strat Plan for US Medical Affairs.
Collaborate closely with local commercial teams and global Medical Affairs to support the implementation of brand and go-to-market strategies, directly and through local partners.
Participate in the review and approval of promotional materials, educational content, and scientific communications in alignment with internal and regional compliance standards.
Monitor evolving surgical techniques, competitive hemostatic technologies and clinical guidelines.
Prepare and deliver high-quality scientific product presentations and clinical summaries for use in customer engagements, internal training, and industry events.
Train commercial teams on products, procedures, and clinical evidence to ensure accurate and confident field communication.
Develop and execute strategic publication and education plans, including CEU programs, congress presentations, and advisory board content.
Participate in regional and international scientific meetings, presenting key clinical evidence and representing the company in interactions with medical professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Maintain deep expertise in relevant disease states, products, and evolving clinical trends to guide strategy, support evidence generation, and inform cross-functional decision-making.
Support Medical Affairs project management and contribute to global medical initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and scientific integrity.
What you will need
Minimum of 5 years related work experience (surgery, clinical, or industry experience).
Bachelor's degree required in chemistry, biology, or other medical related discipline.
Preference for Advanced Clinical/Science Degree.
Prior experience and demonstrated success as a field Medical Science Liaison is preferred.
Understanding of real-world evidence and outcomes research and the ability to critically translate clinical data into meaningful insights.
Ability to learn other disease state or product areas as business needs and product life cycles change.
Previous experience in medical devices or medicinal products used in surgery strongly preferred.
Experience supporting product launches in surgical markets.
Experience in General Surgery and Hemostasis.
Understanding of the coagulation cascade an asset.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; exhibits professional maturity, confidence, and competence.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills; proven abilities to manage multiple, often complex, and sometimes competing, objectives, goals and other priorities to effective and efficient conclusion.
Ability and willingness to travel at least 70% of the time.

Corza Medical offers a competitive benefits package including medical, 401K, vacation and sick time, paternal leave and other benefits.
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $150,000-$175,000/annual salary. Further, pay is offered based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant's job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications, and certain degrees.
