Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant. This person will be required to complete all necessary administrative work and potential coordination work. This role is contract only.

Description

Provides administrative support to individuals and departments across the organization.

Manages diaries, appointments and maintain calendars for supervisory staff.

Handles correspondence, mails and documents, ensuring they reach intended recipients.

Arranges travel, accommodations, and manage expense reports.

Schedules and coordinate meetings, conferences, and special events.

Prepares and maintains various reports, logs, and data.

Serves as the point of contact for a team or a department.

Coordinates communications and disseminates information within the organization.

Maintains a filing system for important and confidential company documents.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Requirements

Somali Billingual

High school diploma or its equivalent; further qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is an advantage.

Proven work experience in an administrative or related role.

Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer software.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Problem-solving abilities with a talent for managing in a fast-paced environment.

Good understanding of business operations and procedures.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
