Electrical Engineering Technician - Jacksonville, FL

Kelly Services is currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician at one of our Global clients in Jacksonville, FL. This role is a full-time, fully benefited position.

This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K and a variety of other benefits to choose from. You'll also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation and sick/personal time. Employees also receive annual performance reviews.

Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

Location: Jacksonville (32256), onsite

Pay: $25hr and up based on experience; plus benefits and PTO

Hours: M-F 8 hour day shift,

Job Description:

Maintains and repairs equipment in the Distribution Department to ensure uninterrupted operating capability.

Provides project support as required.

Implements modifications and maintains documentation for all equipment. 1

Ensures compliance on hazardous material controls and procedures.

Assists in training of operators in maintaining equipment.

Develops and maintains preventative maintenance schedules.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Troubleshoots electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment.

Qualifications:

2-year technical degree preferred - must have formal training in electrical theory

High school diploma or equivalent required

Must be able to work safely with electricity

Experience or exposure on continuous production line or distribution material handling equipment.

Experienced in the use of PLC s and reading electrical schematics.
