Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will focus on the full lifecycle design and development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for spaceflight and ground support systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in schematic capture, circuit analysis, and component selection, with experience taking designs from concept through production and support.

Responsibilities

Design and develop complex PCBs for spaceflight and ground systems.

Perform schematic capture and circuit analysis using industry-standard tools.

Select components with consideration for reliability, availability, and radiation tolerance.

Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure design integration.

Essential Skills

10+ years in electrical engineering (primarily focused on design).

Proficient in PCB design using Altium.

Experience with hardware, including oscilloscopes and lab equipment.

Proficient in schematic capture, circuit analysis, and component selection.

Hands-on lab experience including the use of oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering.

Understanding of high-speed concepts, FPGA, and DDR SDRAM is preferred.

Experience in aerospace/aviation or other regulated environments is preferred.

Proficiency with CAD tools such as Cadence, Allegro, OrCAD.

Experience with high-speed digital design and embedded systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
