We are seeking a Site Finance Senior Manager & Controller to join our Thermal, Electronic & Defense Systems (TEDS) team within Mission Critical Products, an SSBU in the Mission Systems Business Unit. As an individual contributor, you will lead accounting, financial reporting and analysis for our Durham, New Hampshire site, serving as a key business partner to site leadership.
You will collaborate closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and functional managers to understand operational performance, develop financial forecasts, and drive financial results. This role plays a critical part in translating business activity into financial insights, supporting decision-making, and ensuring the integrity of site-level financial data. You will oversee monthly and quarterly financial processes and ensure accurate, timely close activities. The role also requires strong systems proficiency, with heavy use of OneStream and Epicor for analysis and reporting.
This position will work onsite in Durham, New Hampshire. Relocation assistance provided.
What You Will Do
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Perform and oversee accounting activities in accordance with GAAP
Lead the monthly close process, including preparation and approval of journal entries
Review and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership
Analyze actual P&L and balance sheet performance and develop accurate financial forecasts including quarterly forecast, Annual Operating Plans, and Long Range Strategic Plans.
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules; support annual fixed asset audits
Coordinate with corporate teams on capital expenditures and fixed asset processes
Facilitate timely and accurate site tax submissions and year-end tax packages
Identify internal control gaps, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Ensure ongoing compliance with SOX requirements, including documentation and audit support
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and resolving inquiries
Drive improvements in financial processes and controls
Ensure timely and accurate submission of trial balances and corporate reporting requirements
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
Manage multiple close-cycle responsibilities, coordinating activities to ensure critical reporting deadlines are met in high-pressure, time-sensitive finance environments
Travel up to 10%
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years of experience
Previous experience in Finance/Accounting
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, influence decision-making, and drive financial outcomes.
Experience in MS Excel such as using pivot tables, advanced formulas, and/or data analysis.
Qualifications We Prefer
Epicor or similar ERP experience
Experience with month-end close
FP&A experience
Aerospace or manufacturing environment experience

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
