Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control. Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes.

Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.

Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.

In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.

Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.

May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent.

Provides informal guidance to new team members

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 6 years of manufacturing or operations experience)

Minimum 3yrs of xp in a manufacturing environment

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Experience reading and interpreting engineering specifications and drawings

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools

Demonstrated leader and respectful team player

Hands-on experience with implementing projects and sustaining process improvements

Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and motivate others

Willingness and ability to learn from others and listen with intent

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
