Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Description

The Electrical Assembler will primarily focus on cutting, crimping, and stripping wires, while also receiving cross-training in other assembly areas. Over time, the assembler will learn advanced aspects of the electrical department, including schematic interpretation and in-depth wiring.

Responsibilities

Perform cutting, crimping, and stripping of wires.

Participate in cross-training across various assembly areas.

Learn and execute advanced electrical tasks such as schematic interpretation and in-depth wiring.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical assembly.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Understanding of electricity and wiring.

Mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Formal schooling or certification in electrical assembly.

Experience in mechanical assembly.

Work Environment

The newly constructed manufacturing facility is clean and climate-controlled, featuring a 54,000 square feet production area with newly painted floors, walls, and ceilings. The facility employs electric stand-ups and forklifts to minimize dirt from propane dust, and overhead LED lighting provides energy-efficient illumination. Wireless connectivity allows real-time access to drawings via online computers and tablets. Team members work in small groups and are encouraged to cross-train as needed. The standard workweek runs Monday through Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with optional Friday hours available depending on workload.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.03 - $22.00/hr.
