Key Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain the safe operation of all warehouse equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, baler and dock equipment.
Coordinate with the Safety Leader on forklift training and certification.
Ensure forklifts are running in safe and efficient condition.
Maintain safe storage heights on all finished products and raw materials. Pallet stacks should not exceed 8 feet.
Ensure all rows are neatly organized and stacked.
Ensure trailer wheels are chocked and all certified drivers are following the established procedures for loading and unloading trailers.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness by assigning housekeeping duties to warehouse personnel in accordance with the facility Master Cleaning and Sanitization Schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized work area through effective housekeeping, sanitization, and waste management practices by following the master cleaning and sanitization schedule to ensure the food safety of materials, products and processes are not impacted.
Proactively resolve housekeeping and sanitization opportunities.
Coordinate the loading of all finished product for delivery and unloading of raw materials; perform duties directly as necessary.
Ensure proper First-In First-Out (FIFO) procedures are followed on all finished product shipments and raw material usage.
Perform Trailer Inspections on all incoming and outgoing trailers and maintain appropriate documentation.
Coordinate with Office Manager to ensure proper documentation is prepared and signed for all outgoing deliveries.
Ensure all paperwork is accurate.
Maintain and coordinate the receipt and unloading of all material railcars.
Clean any spilled resin from the railcar site regularly.
Provide necessary training to qualified forklift personnel in Baan software data entry and maintenance. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly summary reports for management.
Provide morning inventory reports daily.
Perform monthly physical inventory. Initiate the sale of all scrap material as authorized by Plant Manager.
Coordinate the use of all usable material with Production Manager and production personnel.
Answer telephones and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner consistent with Ring Container Technologies standards.
Directs calls to appropriate individuals, may screen calls, take and relay accurate messages.
Obey all machine guards and safety warnings.
Responsible for coordinating the movement and storing of materials and finished goods in a manner which maintains product quality and food safety.
Label and/or tag all production, and maintain raw and packaging material traceability by recording lot codes as required.
Isolate and track all non-conforming products and materials.
Coordinate with Quality Manager to ensure hold items receive timely dispositions.
Coordinate with Production Manager on finished goods stock inventories and recommended production schedules. Responsible for ensuring warehouse employees follow food safety and food defense programs.
Support the development and implementation of food safety and food defense programs, in compliance with Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI) or British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), personnel practices, HACCP, and prerequisite food safety programs.
Ensure work is performed in a manner which prevents foreign material contamination.
Communicate quality, food safety and food defense issues to appropriate personnel.

Our Warehouse Coordinator should possess strong people skills, leadership qualities, managerial abilities, a sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation and the desire and focus to improve the business. He/she must be able to read, write and understand English. In addition to the items listed above, the Warehouse Coordinator may be asked to perform basic office functions including but not limited to documentation, faxing, scanning and laminating.
The Warehouse Coordinator must be well trained in computer software such as: BAAN, Micro Main, Access and NWA Quality Analyst.
Our Warehouse Coordinator must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. In addition, she/he must have an OSHA certified forklift license, and an OSHA certified forklift training license.

Physical Activity Required:
Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs and equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Needs good body agility.
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist. This requires the full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
Crouching: Bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Standing: Standing for sustained periods of time.
Walking: Moving over long distances to accomplish tasks.
Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.

Fingering: Picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm.
Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. This includes activities where detailed or important spoken instruction must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds with no less than 40 dB at 500 Hz, 100 Hz, and 2000 Hz with or without correction. Able to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machine parts.
Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements of the arms, hand and/or fingers.
Vision: Must be able to prepare and analyze data and figures. Eye sight capable of seeing small defects at distances close to the eyes.
Exertion: Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Environmental Working Conditions:
The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
The worker may be subject to extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 for periods of more than one hour.
The worker is subject to noise.
The worker is subject to vibrations. Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
The worker is subject to being exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, chemicals, etc.
The worker may be subject to atmospheric conditions, i.e. fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation.
The worker is subject to oils. Air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
