Job Purpose

We are looking for an intern to join our sustainability team and assist with a critical project focused on manual data entry. The intern will play a key role in collating important information that will help Herc Rentals set a new greenhouse gas emissions intensity target. This position requires a candidate with strong attention to detail and an interest in gaining career exposure to corporate sustainability.

What you will do...

Perform manual data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Review 6 months of utility and waste records across diverse sites from various utility providers, transposing key data points into a templated format that can be uploaded into Salesforce NetZero Cloud, the company's greenhouse gas accounting platform.

Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Minimum 20/Maximum 40 hours per week and flexible depending on school schedule provided.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Management, Business Information Systems or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Pro.

Ability to work independently on repetitive tasks.

Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Education:

Enrolled or recent graduate of undergraduate/associate's studies.
