Position: Production Supervisor

Adecco Staffing is currently assisting a local client in hiring a Production Supervisor in Bloomington, IL. This is a contract job that lasts 4 months. We are looking for an ideal candidate with 5+ years of supervisor experience with a manufacturing background.

Available Shifts

· 2nd shift and Some Saturdays

· 3rd shift and Some Saturdays

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee the team members on the production lines

· Oversee daily manufacturing operations

· Supervise, train, mentor, and discipline production staff

· Report to the Production Manager

· Ensure production goals are met efficiently and within quality standards

· Ensure that supplies and equipment are available and utilized to perform production tasks effectively

· Apply established criteria to resource management on production lines

· Manage conflicts between the team members, lead disciplinary meetings, and recommend disciplinary measures to the HR

· Provide measures to reduce the number of employees' absences

· Provide measures to avoid incidents in the workplace

· Work with HR to select personnel and provide evaluation for the new hires

Preferred Background

· 5 years of supervisor or management experience

· Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

· Familiarity with machinery, production processes, and safety protocols.

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Strong team management and interpersonal skills

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly.

· Familiarity with SAP ERP software

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office

Pay Details: $6,000.00 to $10,000.00 per month
