Job Description
The Maintenance Technician supports four apartment communities in the Greensburg area, ensuring that all homes are safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for residents. This role focuses on apartment turnovers, general repairs, and preventative maintenance, while also providing occasional support to additional properties in the Western Pennsylvania region. Responsibilities
Complete apartment turnovers and make-readies to ensure units are clean, functional, and move-in ready for new residents.
Perform general repairs, including drywall work, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC-related tasks.
Carry out preventative maintenance to extend the life of building systems, equipment, and apartment components.
Respond to and resolve resident maintenance requests in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
Handle emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance needs as part of an on-call rotation.
Safely operate and maintain power tools and equipment required to complete maintenance and repair tasks.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar maintenance role within residential or property management settings.
Hands-on skills in general maintenance, including drywall repair, painting, basic electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC-related tasks.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance on building systems and apartment components.
Comfort working with mechanical systems, HVAC, pneumatics, and electrical components at a basic to intermediate level.
Availability to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
Valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in apartment turnovers and make-ready work.
Background in property management or multifamily housing maintenance.
Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Work Environment
This role is based across four apartment communities in the Greensburg area: Brookside Apartments on Willowbrook Drive, Meadow View Apartments on Dornin Street, Noble Vista Apartments & Townhomes on Noble Vista Drive, and Starboard Villa Townhomes on Starboard Villa Lane. You work a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. The environment is hands-on and field-based, requiring regular movement between buildings and units, work in both interior and exterior areas, and occasional tasks in confined spaces or at heights using ladders and staircases. You regularly use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment to perform repairs and preventative maintenance. The setting is fast-paced yet supportive, with collaboration among team members to maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning apartment homes for residents.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
