Qualifications Applicants must meet one of the following requirements to qualify at the GS-9 level: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-7, in the federal service. Examples of specialized experience include enrolling research participants; developing statistical reports for use by management for planning purposes; developing new or modifying work methods and processes to meet program and accreditation standards; and utilizing a variety of automated programs and databases to prepare a variety of reports and maintain research study records. This experience must be demonstrated on your resume to receive credit. OR Graduate Education: A master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Education must be related to the position and must demonstrate the knowledge, sills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
