Summary You will serve as a SUPV HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) in the Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees You will plan work to be accomplished through a group of subordinate civilian employees, adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. You will apply analytical techniques to solve problems regarding record sources, reconstruction, and information in the record, and reply to customers. You will monitor output, maintain production reports, and ensure records are appropriately safeguarded against improper or illegal uses per established guidelines. You will analyze information and determine whether prior service is creditable per governing regulations and via mathematical computation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Supervising and directing staff compiling, analyzing, and verifying personnel records. Education Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
