Accounting Generalist

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking an Accounting Generalist to join their team. As an Accounting Generalist, you will be part of the finance department supporting accounting operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Generalist

Location: Johnstown, PA

Pay Range: $20/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, First Shift

What's the Job?

Perform general accounting duties including data entry and report generation

Assist with cash register functions, reports, and analysis

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Maintain accurate and confidential financial records

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations

What's Needed?

Associate degree in Accounting is required

At least 1 year of accounting-related experience preferred

Basic understanding of accounting functions

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
