Position Overview
The Sr. Retail Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and financial performance of a Fujifilm retail location. The position will require weekend and evening hours.
This role owns the store-level P&L and is accountable for achieving or exceeding store revenue targets within retail and merchandising frameworks established by the business. The position focuses on execution, staffing, inventory management, and sales performance, while providing structured, observation-based feedback to inform ongoing retailstrategy.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Store Performance & P&L Management
Ensure store readiness each day, including opening / closing procedures and floor standards
Own revenue, gross margin, and controllable expenses at the store level
Oversee daily cash reconciliation and ensure audit-ready cash handling practices
Manage performance against defined KPIs, including:
Sales revenue and sell-through rate
? Conversion rate
? Average transaction value (ATV)
? Units per transaction (UPT)
? Inventory turns and shrink
Take corrective action when performance falls below plan
Provide regular reporting and performance updates
Proactively escalate systemic issues impacting performance (inventory gaps, process failures, system issues)
Maintain accountability for full store operating rhythm, including daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews
Execution of Retail & Merchandising Standards
Implement store layouts and merchandising plans as defined centrally, including any location-specific adaptations
Ensure product presentation and floor sets are maintained to standard
Monitor execution quality and address gaps immediately
Provide timely feedback on what is and is not working at the store level
Sales Floor Management
Lead the sales floor on a daily basis
Set expectations for customer engagement and sales activity
Monitor individual and team performance and adjust coverage as needed
Step in directly to support sales during peak periods
Coach team members to improve sales performance and customer engagement
Staffing & Team Management
Hire, train, and manage store personnel. Another Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Leads and Store personnel Approximately 12 - 15 personnel.
Create schedules aligned with traffic patterns and sales goals
Set performance expectations and hold staff accountable
Address performance issues promptly
Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to support staffing continuity
Labor Planning & Productivity
Manage labor as a primary controllable expense, including fixed and variable components
Track labor costs as a percentage of sales, sales per labor hour ("SPLH")
Control overtime costs and align staffing levels to traffic and sales demand
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Meet safety and security standards
Timely reporting of incidents
Inventory & Operational Control
Maintain appropriate in-stock levels on key SKUs to support sales targets
Provide input on inventory needs based on sales trends and local demand
Manage receiving, transfers, and cycle counts
Minimize shrink and maintain control of high-value inventory
Ensure POS accuracy and cash handling procedures are followed
In-Store Events & Programming Execution
Execute events and workshops as directed by central strategy
Ensure events are properly staffed, set up, and run efficiently
Track attendance, conversion, and sales impact
Identify operational improvements for future events
Returns, Service, and Issue Resolution
Oversee returns, exchanges, and service workflows
Handle escalated customer issues
Approve exceptions within defined guidelines and escalate as required
Protect margin while maintaining customer satisfaction
Ensure adherence to company return and warranty policies
Facilities Maintenance
Accountable for store condition and coordination of maintenance with landlords, vendors, and internal Facilities Team
Ensure uptime of fixtures, demo units, and equipment
Local Market Awareness & Feedback
Provide structured, practical input on:
? Customer preferences and buying behavior
? Product performance
? Competitive activity in the local market
Participate in pilot programs and special events, and report results using established templates
Escalate operational issues or barriers to execution immediately
Scope Clarification
This role is responsible for execution and performance at the store level. It does not:
Set retail or merchandising strategy
Define company-wide standards or KPIs
Own national or channel-level planning
Required Skills/Education:
5-7 years of retail management experience with direct P&L responsibility
Experience managing inventory, staffing, and store operations
Proven ability to drive sales and control expenses
Desired
Experience in consumer electronics or specialty retail
Familiarity with cameras or photography products
Experience in stores that include events or services

Salary and Benefits:
$105,000 plus bonus; depending on experience
